For 12 years, Montblanc is celebrating has celebrated the Eastern zodiac of the year. The Year of the Tiger begins with the Chinese New Year in 2022. The Montblanc Legend of Zodiacs The Tiger Limited Edition 512 (8x8x8) is dedicated to the Zodiac sign of the Tiger in addition to honoring the number 8, which is a lucky number according to Asian beliefs. The Ag 925 sterling silver cap is hand engraved with the image of a tiger. The rose-tone gold-coated barrel is adorned with delicately engraved ornaments inspired by the "lucky cloud". The rose-tone gold-coated cone is set with a blue sapphire in reference to the birthstone of the Tiger sign. The current Year of the Tiger, 2022, is engraved on the cap ring alongside the last six years that fall under the sign of the tiger. The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. The nib, made of 18K solid gold is adorned with a fine engraving of the tiger symbol.
