Cap The skeletonized cap with 3D layered effects with blue, yellow and red lacquer inlays is a reference to his painting Yellow-Red-Blue. The cap is decorated with his signature in black lacquer.
Cap Top The emblem in mother-of-pearl is suspended in a clear sapphire half bowl.
Clip The clip incorporates a dynamic wave shape inspired by the one in Yellow-Red-Blue.
Overall Design The overall shape of the writing instrument reflects on one hand the abstract, geometrical style - especially the cap - and on the other his Russian roots. The cap and the fittings are made of Au750 solid signature gold.
Cone The shape of the cone is a reminder of one of his early Moscow Church paintings and his Russian background. The cone is set with 116 diamonds (~0,52 ct.) and 116 dark blue sapphires (~0,53 ct.).
Nib The Au750 solid signature gold nib features is decorated with his 'K' signature.
Limitation Limited to 77 pieces in reference to his age when he died.
