Marketing Verbiage

Built in just 23 month between 1776 and 1778, la Scala in Milan, still today is a great opera house worldwide. Within the last three centuries, the walls of la Scala have witnessed the rise of famous singers such as Farinelli and Maria Callas, everlasting operas like Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco and even some off-stage facts: the Scala became home to the resistance during the time of the Austrian supremacy, was completely destroyed in World War II, and was restored for public attendance in 1946.
